Good Morning!
"Her fancy was running riot along those days ahead of her. Spring days, and summer days, and all sorts of days that would be her own. She breathed a quick prayer that life might be long. It was only yesterday she had thought with a shudder that life might be long."

NOTE: Please use my abaltrushes@sandi.net for anything that you need to communicate to me. Also, remember to look at my blog for information about assignments.
2. "The
Story of An Hour" : Yesterday we discussed this story in a Socratic Seminar format. Today you will write about the story in your ENGLISH JOURNAL. Follow these guidelines:NOTE: Please use my abaltrushes@sandi.net for anything that you need to communicate to me. Also, remember to look at my blog for information about assignments.
1. Introduce the title and author and give your opinion
of the story.
2. Then make a statement of the story's theme. (What is
this story really about?)
3. Give a brief synopsis of the story.
3. Discuss how the stylistic devices contribute to the
theme (that would be mostly imagery and symbolism).
4. Explain the irony at the end.
