"Federigo's Falcon"

1.  Independent Reading -- Please have your independent reading book out and read for approximately 10 minutes.

2.  I will collect your assignments on "The Interloper" today -- the handout on setting and the questions on the story.

3.  "Federigo's Falcon"  -- You will read this story in pairs.  One of you will read and the other will listen and follow along.  The student who listens will then explain what happens in the paragraph or the main ideas of the paragraph.  Answer the questions that appear after some of the paragraphs.  Take turns with the reading and explaining. Once you are done reading, complete the handout with your partner.  Partner up with another student in your group.
