Read the story quietly on your own and annotate for stylistic devices, symbolism, irony, and theme. For stylistic devices, notice the imagery, the poetic use of language, repetition, and the use of metaphors. After you thoroughly annotate the story, complete the items on the back of your copy, the graphic organizer handout, and then the seminar questions.
