1.  Independent Reading -- Let's read for about 10 minutes.

2. "The Story of An Hour" : Yesterday we discussed this story by reviewing the graphic organizer and the responses on the back of the story.   I asked you to complete the FOUR QUESTIONS for a Socratic Seminar discussion which we will try today.  Hopefully this will have us discuss parts that I have not mentioned yet.

NOTE:  I will collect these assignments tomorrow in the event that you need to more fully complete them.  Tomorrow you will write about the story in your ENGLISH JOURNAL.
