NOTE: Your Goodreads Book Review is due today no later than midnight.  Your submitted book review should have a time stamp of no later than Oct 12th.   I gave you time on Friday to either get started or to complete this course requirement. I will be grading the book reviews through the week.  The grading period ends on Friday, October 16th.

1.  Assignment on "Federigo's Falcon"  --  I will collect the two handouts that you FULLY completed.  (I forgot to do that on Friday).

2.  "The Lady or the Tiger" -- story handout and assignment handout.   Read this story with a partner.  Take turns reading each paragraph and pause to annotate each paragraph for an important idea.  If any part confuses you, and you and your partner cannot come to an understanding of the text, then ask me for help.  

ASSIGNMENT on "The Lady or the Tiger":  This assignment practices an understanding of characterization.
