JA Lesson

Good Morning!

1.  Book Reviews are due today. I will collect at the beginning of the period.

*Netbook Agreement

2.  Chromebook Assignment

3.  Logging on with the Chromebook:
The very first student to login gets a nice box asking for their login. They can only use the id@stu.sandi.net and their district password. Then they login again to a district box and then they get prompted to pick a pretty picture to identify their account.

The challenge comes the NEXT period. The next student to open the Chromebook sees a picture and under the picture it asks for a password. This is actually the login for the previous student. The new student needs to click "Add a person" in the lower left corner. That will take them through the login process.

Eventually, each student who uses that Chromebook will have a picture on the desktop when you open the computer. Then they should only need to type their password to access their profile.

Good Morning!
I hope that you had an enjoyable weekend!

After I take attendance we will head to the lower level computer lab in the Media Center.  You will be going to the following website and creating an account.

*Once you complete the survey, you will be provided with a 3-letter interest code.  If the report is not automatically available, look at the upper right hand corner of the website where it says "Insights."

*Complete the graphic organizer to better understand your interest code.

* Print your report.  Go to the top of the report and click the green "print" icon.  Once printed, rank your career interests (bottom of page) from 1-6 (one being your favorite and six least favorite).

*Share the printed results with your parents and have them write on the back of the report 2-3 additional strengths that they see in you.

*The printed report will be collected tomorrow.
