Good Morning!
Please
put your cell phones completely out of sight for the FULL duration of
the class. Please do not have me remind you of this. NOTE: Please bring a book to class vs. reading a book on your phone.
1. Independent Reading -- Please read quietly for 10 minutes.
NOTE: The third book review for this semester will be an ORAL
REVIEW of the book. We will begin on Tuesday, January 24th
and finish on the day of the final (Period 1 will be on January
25th and Period 5 will be on January 27th). We will start on
Tuesday so we will be sure to finish on finals day.
2. Stephen's Speech -- We will finish this speech today. As we read, I will pause for you to reflect on each part. You will write your reflection in the margin next to the part. That is what I will be checking for completeness when you turn your copy in.
