Stephen's Speech

Good Morning!

 Please put your cell phones completely out of sight for the FULL duration of the class.  Please do not have me remind you of this. NOTE: Please bring a book to class vs. reading a book on your phone. 

1.  Independent Reading -- Please read quietly for 10 minutes.

2. Unit on Speeches --  Yesterday we did read the first speech for this unit.  It was Aston Kutcher's acceptance speech of the Teen Choice Award.  Let's review the handout I asked you to complete before passing in.  After the last part, please explain what part caught your attention the most.

3.  Stephen's Speech -- First, number the paragraphs.  We will annotate as we go along.
