 Please put your cell phones completely out of sight for the FULL duration of the class.  Please do not have me remind you of this. NOTE: Please bring a book to class vs. reading a book on your phone.

 1. Independent Reading -- Today we will resume independent reading at the beginning of the period.

2.  Article -- "Why the Women's March may be the start of a serious social movement"
    Review of your questions and I will collect

3.  Article -- "Mexico's a great neighbor, but we could turn it into a bad one"
    Assignment: Questions (handout)-- please complete for homework.  It will be due on Thursday because of articulation tomorrow.
