Argument

Good Morning!

 Please put your cell phones completely out of sight for the FULL duration of the class.  Please do not have me remind you of this. NOTE: Please bring a book to class vs. reading a book on your phone. 

1.  Independent  Reading -- Please read for a bit before we get started.  

2.  Article -- "The Importance of College: A Self-Fulfilling Prophecy"
     Assignment:  You have written a response and a statement of the argument of this article.  I will collect.

3.  Choosing a debate topic and debate group. I think it might work best if you chose your debate group first and then selected a topic.  NOTE:  As soon as you select the topic, you need to let me know because no other group can select that topic.
