1.  Independent Reading -- I reminded you all of last week to be prepared with your independent reading book today.  Please read quietly for ten minutes.

 

2.  Argument:  "Some say bypassing a higher education is smarter than paying for a degree"

     * Read and annotate the article and write 5 open-ended 

        questions (handout). We will discuss this article in a 

        Socratic Seminar format.
