Good Morning!
Please get your assigned netbook when you arrive to class.

1.  Independent Reading -- Please read quietly for ten minutes. Book reviews will be due on March 14th on Goodreads.  The grading period ends on March 18th.

2. NOTE:  You will return your scheduling card to me which is due by February 26th.

3.  Debate Assignment, Groups, and Topics -  Yesterday you selected groups and debate topics This assignment will be due on February 29th.  This week you will be researching your topic. Yesterday I gave you a handout which describes the kind of evidence to include.  As you do your research online, cut and paste the URL of the website into a word document. Name this document "Debate Research Sources."  Include the name of the site, date, and author of the article if it is available. Refer to the following link for how to format your Works Cited page:

 Also create a document for your notes.   You might want to cut and paste parts of articles into your notes.
