1.  Independent Reading -- Please read quietly for ten minutes. 

2. NOTE:  You will return your scheduling card to me which is due by February 26th.

3. Debate Topics: Before we begin with an article that we will read today, I would like to get your ideas for debate topics.  Write down at least 3 topics that would generate debate.

4.  Article: "Colorado Voices: A different path to prosperity" -- We will read this together and on a second reading you will identify the claims made and the reasons for the claims (handout).
