Good Morning!
Please get your assigned netbook when you arrive to class.

1.  Independent Reading -- Please read quietly for ten minutes. Book reviews will be due on March 14th on Goodreads.  The grading period ends on March 18th.

2. NOTE:  You will return your scheduling card to me which is due by February 26th.

3.  Debate Assignment: As you do your research online, cut and paste the URL of the website into a word document. Name this document "Debate Research Sources."  Include the name of the site, date, and author of the article if it is available. Refer to the following link for how to format your Works Cited page:

(I am also giving you a hard copy of this)

Also create a document for your notes.   You might want to cut and paste parts of articles into your notes.   

4. NOTE:  What you will hand in following the debate is the completed information following the structure of the debate on the handout that I gave you. You will also have a works cited page.  (In other words, you will be turning in two pages, not three).  This is different from what I indicated earlier.
