2. NOTE:  You will return your scheduling card to me which is due today.

3.  Debate Assignment:   What you will hand in next week will follow the structure of the debate on the handout that I gave you. You will also have a works cited page.  (In other words, you will be turning in two pages.)  We will begin on Monday with Group #1.  Today, finalize your preparation.  I am giving you index cards that you will use during the debate. ALSO, today decide who will take PRO or CON.  You will receive a letter grade for your participation (100pts).  If you are absent, it compromises the whole structure of the debate.

Name this document "Debate Research Sources."  Include the name of the site, date, and author of the article if it is available. Refer to the following link for how to format your Works Cited page:
MLA Works Cited
(I am also giving you a hard copy of this)

Also create a document for your notes.   You might want to cut and paste parts of articles into your notes.

4. NOTE:  What you will hand in following the debate is the completed information following the structure of the debate on the handout that I gave you. You will also have a works cited page.  (In other words, you will be turning in two pages, not three).  This is different from what I indicated earlier.
