Night Essay

 Please put your cell phones completely out of sight for the FULL duration of the class.  Please do not have me remind you of this. NOTE: Please bring a book to class vs. reading a book on your phone. 

 Essay assignment -- We will be spending the next few days in class working on a written response to our reading of Night.  We will begin today.  You will receive a handout with a selection of prompts.  Last night you did a quickwrite on our reading of Night. What you wrote is likely to be helpful in getting started with your introduction to the essay.
