 Please put your cell phones completely out of sight for the FULL duration of the class.  Please do not have me remind you of this. NOTE: Please bring a book to class vs. reading a book on your phone. 

Night Essay -- Before we move on, I would like us to look at some essays on Night.  For extra credit, please volunteer to share your essay with the class.  I would also like to show editing (if needed) in looking at the essay.

Textbooks -- Today we will get the textbooks out that you have stored all year in the class.

Assignment: Classical Civilizations (handout) -- Before starting the Greek drama of Oedipus the King, we will read some background information.
