Independent Reading -- Book Reviews will be due Monday, January 25th.
Remember that one of your books this semester must be from the
recommended list.
2. Poem -- "Any Human to Another" --We read and discussed this poem yesterday, and part of the assignment was to compose your own poem on an inspirational theme. Today you will share your poem with the class, and I will collect the handout.
3. Unit on Speeches -- Our next unit of study will be on speeches which will take us to the end of the semester. We will be reading a variety of speeches and examining the techniques used in these speeches. The first speech by Ashton Kutcher.
