Independent Reading -- Book Reviews will be due Monday, January 25th.
Remember that one of your books this semester must be from the
recommended list.
2.Unit on Speeches -- Our next unit of study is on speeches which will take us to the end of the semester. We will be reading a variety of speeches and examining the techniques used in these speeches. The first speech is by Ashton Kutcher, and yesterday we saw him deliver this speech. Today, we will examine more closely the text of the speech for main ideas and techniques (handout).
