 Please put your cell phones completely out of sight for the FULL duration of the class.  Please do not have me remind you of this. NOTE: Please bring a book to class vs. reading a book on your phone.

1. Debate --Follow the format in the debate.

Period 1:
1.  The Death Penalty
2.  Marijuana's classification as schedule 1 drug
3.  Should there be stricter gun control laws?
4.  Should the KKK be allowed to march in a city-wide parade?
5.  Deportation of undocumented immigrants.
6.  Should it be "Black Lives Matter or "All Lives Matter"?
7.  Should transgender individuals use the restroom of their
     gender identity?
8.  Should we let Syrian refugees into the U.S.?

PERIOD 5 --Today, I am giving you one more day to make sure that you have correctly completed the written portion of the debate.  I am looking for the PROPER HEADING, TITLE, WORKS CITED PAGE (alphabetized and formatted correctly).
