Conformity Essay -- Please continue working on your essay.  You will finish today. Tomorrow we will read our essays small groups. You will respond to each group member's essay.  I have a handout for that which you will turn in at the end of the period. Please take care in proofreading your essays for sentence correctness and MEANING.  A minimum of 500 words is required.

HOMEWORK:  Select your independent reading book for the next six weeks.

2. Expository Reading and Writing Unit -- Pre-reading Activity: Responding to four questions in a group of four. These questions are relevant to the expository text that we will be reading. We will discuss the group's responses.  Each group member will share the group's responses to the question with which YOU start. For example, if you begin with Question #1, you will share what the other group members have said about that question.
