Twelve Angry Men, Act One

Good Morning!
At his best, man is the noblest of all animals; separated from law and justice he is the worst.

NOTE:  We will begin independent reading next week with the first day of the third six weeks.  If you have not selected a book from the recommended list yet, you need to do so for this final six weeks.  There is a link to this annotated list here on my blog under "Important Links."

1.  Twelve Angry Men -- We are starting this play today.  I have given you 4 handouts.  Please keep them filed in your notebook as we read the play.

2.  Reading the play -- We will act out this play.  Volunteers for the parts will receive extra credit.  I will read the narration (stage directions).

HOMEWORK:  Decide on an independent reading book for the final six weeks.  We will begin next Monday.
