1.  Independent Reading -  Please begin at the bell

2.  "The Window" -- Explain how the setting contributes to the theme of the story.  What is the theme?  What is the irony?  Use the back of the handout for your responses.

3.  Review for test on narrative texts -- the test is tomorrow.
